Gift Entry
A myriad of information can be entered with each gift entry. By selecting an available type of entry such as a membership, gift, in-kind, pledge, recurring gift, matching gift, soft credit or pledge payment, reports can be filtered to obtain totals for these types of gifts. The tender, campaign, solicitation, purpose, fund, and solicitor is all noted with the gift entry. The letter to be used for acknowledgement, date for receipt, and if the gift is in honor or memory of an individual is also entered. All this information is now available for reports, exporting to GL, and used for mail merge.
The Quick Gift Entry Tool makes entering receipts even easier. It allows the user to entry into a grid without opening each constituent record.
Make data entry less time consuming with User Defaults. These defaults are specific to each organization and puts specified data into fields that is the same for all entries speeding up entries.
Different Types of Gift Entries
Basic Gifts
Cash donation from a constituent.
Split Gifts
A single gift amount can split gifts up to 5 times. A special letter template can be used to send one acknowledgement for all entries.
Pledges
Pledge schedules can be manually entered or automatically assigned by the software. FR50 will calculate the payment amount based on number of payments and payment interval.
Pledge Payments
Payments are attached to the schedule established with the pledge entry.
Matching Pledge
The software can automatically enter a matching pledge for a company
when a gift from employee of the company is entered.
In-kind Gifts
Non-financial donations such as art, automobiles, furniture, and volunteered time.
Soft Credit Gifts
No more missing an opportunity to thank both parties. The software can credit a second constituent when a gift entry is made. This is used when husband and wife are set up individually in the data base and the gift is coded on one file but noted on the other. The entries on both files are hyper linked.
