Special Features

Speacial features are used throughout the software to make data entry and reporting user friendly.  They allow the user to quickly identify special characteristics of a constituent or make data entry quicker with shortcuts to the full entry screen.

Quick Gift Entry
Quick gift entry screens are one of the special features available that allows the user to quickly enter data for multiple entries for specific gifts with an entry grid.

Dots
Colored dots can be displayed on the top of the file that they are attached to.  There are up to nine different colored dots available for any one file card.  They can be named for a specific purpose for each card.  Their purpose and use is countless and specific to each agency.  They can be placed globally on a constituent files that meet specific criteria and used to filter reports.  This is one of the special features that will cause you to wonder how you tracked all the information before using Sage Fundraising 50.

Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks are fields on an entry screen are linked to the table for that field and assist with quick data entry.  Clicking on the field’s name will open the table for that field for viewing or editing.

Paper Clips
Paper clips link documents to the file cards by creating a link to where the document is stored.  The paper clip image appears on the top left hand corner of the card it is attached to.  With just a click on the clip you are able to view the original document.


Tables

Table maintenance is quick and easy in Fundraising 50.  The tables control information entered so that it is uniform and gives the ability to sort on specific fields.  As an item becomes obsolete just change the status and it will not be visible during data entry.  Items marked required forces an entry in the field before save is available.  This feature guarantees that important information is not lost when creating an entry.

Sticky Notes
Sticky notes are free text field visual displays used to record additional information to a file.  It displays just like the real thing and stands out on the screen.  They can be different colors, private or shared with other users, and set to prevent or allow others to edit or delete by the originator of the note.

 
Stamps
Stamps are pre-defined system supplied labels for tracking information that are displayed on either the basic information card or the gift card of a constituent.  They can be used in reports and queries as filters and viewed when in the constituent file.  The stamps that are specific to the constituent basic information card are Anonymous (for reports), Deceased, Do Not Solicit, Lost, Mailing List, No Email, and No Mail.  The stamps that are specific to gift entries are Acknowledged and Anonymous.
