Volunteer Management 
The volunteer management module is designed to track three component levels of an engagement. The first level, program, designates the overall specific program such as a reading enhancement program. The second level, project, is for sublevels within the program such as grade levels. The third level, assignment, specifies time and tasks such as a lunch time or after school for the tutoring. On top of these three levels there are also seven user defined fields available to track additional information specific to the agency and program which will assist with volunteer management details. All this information is available in reporting to assist you in volunteer management and to determine what programs are working for you.
A successful volunteer management program is designed to note different levels and the number of assistants needed. The available volunteers and their information such as available date, times and skill level are then entered. Once your volunteers are established, their actual hours volunteered are entered. An hourly value can be assigned to a volunteer thereby giving you the ability to track the value of the overall volunteer effort. Volunteers can also be cross referenced to a company to track the company’s overall participation in a program.
